Better fuel atomization, they have 4 hole's compared to the stock jeep injectors which have 1. tip with the search, dont use the site's, go to google and type in: cherokee forum: 703 injectors , just an example, it pops up everything way easier and you can hit "more results from" or discussion results or whatever its called, should help a bit

Yes it is true, the biggiest gains are from replacing dirty injectors, but the 4 hole design is better as stated above because better atomization there fore the fuel burns more completely.

x2 and don't be expecting a "Super Miracle MPG" gain here. With a stock set-up, the XJ is estimated to get 20mpg when it good operating order. With these new injectors, I figure I get about 2 more mpg. Nothing amazing.

Hell that would be nice. Im talking about my 89 MJ (comanche) and I get around 11 in the city :( I do however have a lead foot... Thank you for the info.

Most people get them from the junk yards, youtube has some good vids on rebuilding, cleaning them.

i went from 13 to 15mpg when i went from my stock injectors to my 99 LS1 injectors. also better throttle response, couldnt be happier

2mpg gain. Sweet. I could use a 2mpg gain. I just order a set. Can't wait to put them in.

Right now I am getting only 12~13mpg. My engine is either was running too cold, just replaced the thermostat from 180 to 195, or is running rich. All I got left to do to try and boost the economy is IAC and TPS after I get these injectors plugged in.

Guys, just remember that results may vary. Get everything running in good order and clean, and you'll get good results. My XJ gives me about 22 mpg highway WHEN it's warm and after I've replaced my cracked header and kept the system clean. If you're getting 11 mpg, something is wrong with your rig, and the injectors aren't going to magically fix it unless the original problem is bad injectors.

Bought mine from Programbo, and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Very clean.

thank you on the idea but I have changed every thing that could cause bad mpg. I mean it when I say im really heavy on the gas and I am also running 31" all terrains.

Oops, shoulda paid more attention to that part lol. That would make sense then. But hey, who can fault ya? It's fun to slam the skinny pedal of the XJ once in a while... especially with a couple of Honda's behind you

Yep :) I just PM'ed some body on here about a set they had for sale. Im looking into how to clean them once I get them. Thanks!
