I was wondering, what is that sound, let's say when your driveing a 5-speed, and you try going up a hill at like 25mph in 5th gear? I don't do this. But I was wondering what this noise is, lind of like a chatter? I know how engines work, and was wondering why and how this noise come's from and about....

Ur prolly hearing spark knock

 

maybe from going too slow in that gear, and too much load on the engine? does it do that at higher speeds or in other gears?

 

It would be either spark knock or slipping clutch. Either thing happening is VERY BAD on your Jeep. Don't ever do this.

 

Engine lugging and spark knock. Both are bad juju. If you're doing a hill @ 25mph, you should be in 2d or 3d - not RPT NOT OD!
