Default 4x4 problem

ok, so i got the new trans and transfer case in, all the same thing basically that was in there, but now when i put in 2 hi it says ,and i notice that im in part time 4x4, i have the 242, so i figured i'd try something m so i went in and took the ditch, and it went into 2wd when it was actually in 2wd, so im confused as to wut would cause this, any ideas? thx

X 2, Read your post allowed to yourself. Then, please write another post that actually makes sense so we can help you out, Bud.

I'm figuring, from what I think I understand from your post, that you may need to adjust your T-case linkage so, you're actually in the gear your indicator in the cabin shows.

Sounds to me like your linkage to the T-case is miss adjusted.

Loosen the adjuster bolt and tap the adjuster towards the back of the Jeep about 1/8".

Only reason the post made seance to me was I just had the same prob on a 242 I installed yesterday in a ZJ..
