4X4 help
 
ok so yesterday i was power braking my jeep in 2x4 inthe backyard and got it stuck XD so i put it in 4x4 low and the back tires were spinning but the front wasn't plus b4 i did this my 4x4 light was stuck on when it was in 2x4 so ya need help any ideas let me know ask Q's idk it just bugs me knowing that.


btw i got it unstuck lol thing ill sell my rims and tires and get more rugged ones :D

ps ... omg as i was trying to get it out the hole truck shuck very back and the only thing it was doing was the back tires was spinning. i got out to see had my foot on the gas to see the truck shake omg the hole thing was flexing the roof and stuff that needs to be fixed asap!!

It sounds like your Transfer case linkage is not adjusted properly and not engaging into 4WD. If it is engaging fully then either the Tcase or front diff is trashed. Just because the light is on does not mean that it is in 4WD hell mine never lights up at all due to a faulty switch.

ok well tomorrow after work ill post pics of the Transfer case, linkage and the drive shaft. i know for a fact it goes from 2x4 to 4x4 low i can tell by the power gain and how it only goes to 35 mph or 45 i don't recall witch.
