Yupp...
Actually, the 2WD XJ was just an option. ALL 4wd parts bolt right in with NO modifications!!!
The 4WD transmission is shorter, so you will need another driveline.
IMO- might as well get a transfer case with the transmission, that way all of the components will "drop right in". Add a Dana 30 in the future and some misc parts, and you have a 4WD!!!
