i have an np242 and the roads here have been pretty bad so the 4FT just isn't doing the job, so i have been trying to drive in 4H but i dont think its engaging. my selector says 4H and the shirfter feels engaged but when starting from a complete stop my rear tires just spin. this just happens when in 4H, in 4FT and 4L my 4wd works fine. what can cause this and how can i fix it? thanks all you guys at CF have been a great help!

jack up a front tire and put it in 4h part time and see if the wheel turns and will tell u if indeed it is not working
