how do you change the 4 wheel drive from part time to full time and what exactly is the difference ......thanks

part time is for off road only or snow and ice slipery surfac only

full time you can drive on pavment

if you don't have the full time option on the 4x shift lever you will need to swap the transfer case to one with that capability

I dont mean to high jack. Can it be swaped? What the transfer case code for full time and what does it come out of?

you want a 242 tc and you can find them in Cherokee and jeeps also dodge Dakota
