4.5" lift and 33s
i know im gonna need to do some trimming but is there anywhere else where they could rub? iv been looking round and have ben hearing of ppl saying its rubbing on the control arms? is theer anywhere else i need to worry about? or just the trimming?

my old mj had only a 4" lift with 34x9.5 on it, they would only rub when i would start flexing or they would rub the control arm with i would get past one full revolution on the wheel. my xj is getting a 4.5" with 33" tires while i've been running 31's with no problem on stock height. i think if you go with 10.5" tires you'll have less rubbing issues then with the 12.5.

if your tires are rubbing the control arms you can get wheels with different backspacing or get wheel spacers to keep them from rubbing or at least keep it to a minimum also there is a bolt on the bottom of teh steering knuckle that you can adjust a little it sets the stop points for turning

aight thanks guys. i need to sell my tires first b4 i can get the 33s but if everything works out ill keep that in mind

yreah my buddy has pretty much new 33s hes willing to sell me for 300 but the one i got now are not even 3 months old so itd be such a waste of money to just ditch them now
