Are you planning on doing the install yourself or taking it to a shop. If you are taking it to a shop then I would recommend using whatever gears they use so if something does go wrong they wont have an excuse to back out on the warranty because "you didnt use their gears".

They were stock 4:10s in the 4cylinder XJs so they should be readily available through the dealers if not through Randy's R&P.

If you've never set gears before, PAY someone else to do it.. But see if you can watch to see what you can learn. Gear setting is a skill, and can take years to get right...

Nick is right. It also requires some special tools like a magnetic base and a dial indicator. The tools have to be used by someone who knows what the tool is telling them. So the first set let someone else do and watch and keep the info in your head for future use. When you are ready then buy the tools and do it.
