Hello. I'm looking for the canister for the AC that holds vacuum. It's behind the front bumper. It's the football looking one with 4 ports on it.

my Ac will only blow out of the defrost and I'm thinking this is my problem since my canister has a hole it in from a rock.

please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks.

It can be difficult to find the vacuum reservoir for a RENIX. I was able to repair mine, perhaps you can repair yours while you look for a replacement. If the hole compromised the dividing wall in the middle of the reservoir, it's done for. I cut the shell of another bad canister to fit over the hole. I then used a sticky backed mesh tape (drywall joint tape) around the seams and clear gorilla glue. Gorilla glue is quite runny and is difficult to keep in place, but you can apply several layers. Epoxy may be a better choice, but that is not what I used. I thought I took a picture of the repair, but I don't have one. Even a new '91 - '96 vacuum canister (which does NOT fit) is under ten dollars if you need shell material.
