35inch Tire choices?
I'm goin up to a 6in lift soon and i'm tryin to get a good cheap set of 35inch M/Ts. I want somethin that is multidirectional and does really well in mud. I dont really care how loud they are on the street, I just want somethin that will perfrom in the thick florida mud very well.
Thaks for the help

Do you have a certain Super Swamper you would recomend? My friend use to run Thornbirds on his XJ and it looked like they worked pretty well for him

The only problem is that boggers arent very cheap. Anyone ever run LTBs? I know they make a 35x12.50, but I also see they make a 33x13.50. So now i'm wondering if a really want to run 35s on stock axles and gearing, and maybe I should run a 33 and not have to trim my fenders too much. And the 13.50 wide tire would be nice to have in the sand down here

And last time I checked a 33x13.50R15 LTB was only $160.00 each!! And since I want to get 5 so i can carry a fullsize spare, the price sounds just about right

I wouldn't run a 35" tire on stock XJ axles in the mud. You'll want to lean on the skinny pedal and use all the tire you can which in turn means more stress on stuff.
I've never seen a 33" tired Jeep not make it through a mudhole that 35s did.

I got these on craigslist for $750 on M/T rims w/ 3.75 backspacing.. they are off a ford but had the 5 on 5.5 required.
x2 the added stress on the drivetrain though.. I regeard to 4.56 and wished I had 4.88..

750 bucks ? not to seem out of place but that seems like a lot , i got 5 swamper tsl's on 5 matching crager soft 8 wheels for 300 bucks , 2 where practicly brand new and the other 3 were like 75% off a ford ranger with same bolt pattern and 3.75 back spacing , i really like your wheels tho
