any 1?

They should fit. The radius idk. But you will need trimming for a 2" inch lift and 31's!

TrueBlueXJ 08-21-2008 10:27 PM

I'd invest in some wheel spacers to avoid rubbing of the lower control arms from the wider meat of those tires, and be prepared to trim the fenders. For the cost of wheel spacers you could just get some black steel wheels @ $35 a pop. 15x8" with a little backspacing and you'll be right as rain.

dude is a DD ...i had 4.5 with 33x12.50x15 4.5 of back space...and no rub in turning..flexing..well thats a nother story..but you are not going to disconect the sway bars anyway..

With 30's you should be ok without triming but I would still trim I little that way you can go with the bigger tire.

^^ thats true,, well lets see if I do it.. but later, much...

Yea i have 31x10.5x 15 on a four inch lift and it still rubs a little bit so i dont know man you might be pushin it

I gotta reiterate: trim, trim and trim some more. My Heep sits at 4.5" with 31s and I had to trim the inner fender a bit because I was rubbing at full turn on the trails - with the sway bar still connected.

yep trimming is essential..I just took a 2" lift off and have 30's and 31's would have rubbed even on the street but my factory springs were shot. I have the re 3.5 and sit at about 4.5" and 31's would fit nicely and would probably rub like trueblue says at a nice full flex.

A cheap way to stop the rubbing on the lower control arms.....put a couple of washers behind each steering stop.

It is not so much the height as it is the width of the tire on stock rims. The rims have the wrong backspacind. You need 3-4" of backspacinf with a 10.5" tire, stock is near 7" IIRC.

Belto 08-22-2008 10:21 AM

^^ okok thanx for the explanation Ill check what ill do,, still have good tires so when those fade ill be in the market

The reason for the rub on turns is because as you lift a vehicle...your axle moves closer to the fender by the door.

By using adjustable control arms, you recenter the axle in your wheel well and wont have rubbing unless flexing.

By using proper bump stops, you wont have rubbing at flex.

I try to stress this..."When building a jeep, measure and use the proper parts...KNOW what is happening when you lift and get the right angles"
