Question 3" suspension + 1.5" shackle?

I have a 3" suspension lift and bought to large of tires because im a little dumb sometimes. My old man doesnt want me to mess with the fenders, but im going to anyway because it rubs on big bumps. Would putting a shackle lift in the rear and a spring spacer in the front be a bad idea? Would i need to lower my transfercase if i did get the addtional lift? I hope this isn't goin to become a series of stupid decisions on my part from the thick head
Thanks for any advice

2000 has a LP(low pinion) d30 in it. If you wanted to go higher i would think about swapping that out to a hp out of any earlier xj

When you put a shackle on it messes with the rear pinion angle and will have to be corrected with shims.

there is a good chance of vibes going over 3in on a 2000. id would advise to make a tc drop or do SYE.

get it all?

you buy a pinion angle shim kit

guna try this simple as possible:
Drive line angles make vibrations. when you raise your vehicle it increases the angle of the drive shaft. a lp pinion is what it says, lower than center on differential. high pionon is higher than center. The crappy part about 00 and 01 is that they came with a lp so your angle is already worse than say a 92. lifting exagerates this.

The master tech info (tom woods)
http://www.4xshaft.com/index.html

as far as the shims go it is to correct the pinion angle on the rear to make it parallel with the t-case

Did i get it all?

How big of a tire did you get ? The more lift you put on it the more stuff you will need to replace to make it handle and drive safley Adjustable track bar lower control arms tcase drop at the very least trim the fenders is an option .

If you were so inclined you could trim a 3 inch lift to fit far bigger tires than 32's. I'd say trim and take your time and be neat about it and you have nothing to worry about.
