I am looking to get a 3 in lift from rough country but my jeep sags a little in the rear on the drivers side. i was wondering if i get the add a leaf, will that level it off in the rear. Atleast thats what i was told by a few mechanics.

It will level off in the rear. As far as for how to get the lift to be 3" in back, I'd recommend using Dakota springs in the back:

The ones rough country sells (even the full springs) are fairly notorious for sagging about an inch after a year or so.
