Default 2wd conversion help?

Hey guys posting for a friend.
Hes got a 96' XJ w/ AX-15 & is 4wd. He just got a 2wd beam and is looking to convert to 2wd. Its a desert truck (whoops & wash boards) so 4wd is no use to him.
What else would he need to convert over to 2wd?

I searched but only found 2wd to 4wd conversions. I need 4wd to 2wd conversion

He actaually already done that lol.
But hes a point where he wants/needs more up travel, & is limited by the front pumkin..Hes got 1 1/4 inch at full compression before he smacks the oil pan. And also better weigh distrobution, batterys are in the back & stuff but take the axtra 25-50 pounds off the front really helps keep the nose up when going over whoops!

Anyone know how to convert from 4wd to 2wd?
Is it as easy as finding a beam & taking the t-case out or what? Could he use the rear section of a 2wd AX-15 or does he need a whole 2wd trans?

you will need the axle trans mission ,the mount and crossmember and rear ds if its the same year the brake capilers might just swap over same year is the key to making it simple

He has a CV driveshaft or SYE (whatever the rear one is) incase he can use that instead of the 2wd shaft?
