Default 245/75-16 on 3" lift?

I was wondering how a 245/75-16 would look on a 3" lift? The tire is .5" shorter than a 31" tire and not much skinnier. Has anyone run a tire this size?

Those are Basically a 30" tire. They will look really small IMO.

He's right they would look small. Mine are 235/70/16 on stock and they look good. Go with at least 31s

The 235/70-16 shows to be 29" tall. A 245/75-16 shows 30.5" x 9.65". That's just a little smaller than a 31x10.50 tire. A 265/75-16 says its just shy of 32" tall.

I was looking at the 245/75-16 because the jeep is my dd. I don't plan on hardcore wheeling. Just mainly for looks.

With a standard set of 31s you can use it as your DD still. It also depends re setup I've seen 3" lifted jeeps as DD with 31s and they have a stock look cause of the setup

A 265/70-15 shows to be an inch shorter than a 245/75-16. Does anyone run this size?

And...Technically a 31" tire will not measure 31". they will actually be 30.5 or so depending on the actual tire.

Don't be scared. 31's are a small tire. It will be ok, haha.

If you already have the 16" rim and like em, then the 245-75x16 will look great on your daily driver, my son in law runs that on the libby, will fit excellent with your 3" lift and no rub issues front or back. Where did the rims come from?

Cragar 8's sound great, the 8" will definately support your tire projection and even future options. I thnk even up to 11.5" tire widths without complications. I would suggest a lower than stock backspace (perhaps 3") so your 254's and possible futures widths won't rub your control arms up front at full lock. You get a little wider stance and won't need hub spacers. I am sure additional suggestions will keep comin.
