2001 Jeep cherokee sport - wont start
New to the forums any help appreciated. I have a 4.0l 2001 cherokee sport. It died going up a small residential hill after losing power while going up. So far I have changed the starter, coil pack, spark plugs, battery. Realized I wasn't getting fuel to my fuel rail and just finished changing the fuel pump, and now when I push the release valve on my fuel rail I do have pressure in there but still just cranks and I dont get any sputter or sound like its going to go. I believe it is a spark issue, but not 100% sure as all belts turn and fuel is reaching up to the injectors now.
If anyone has any ideas on tests I can try or something this may be that would be amazing!

Check the pressure at the rail with a gauge. You can rent them at the auto parts store if you need them. On an 01 you should have 49 psi + or - 5 at idle. Anything more than and your pressure is off.

Hmm, after you get the fuel pressure sorted out......You might want to look into checking the Crankshaft positioning Sensor.
Just do a search and a bunch of post will appear! If you replace it, try to find a NGK sensor they seem to be the most reliable.
Good Luck!
