Its built into one of the lines and is not replaceable. You'll need to replace that entire line.

That's right. Likely in the liquid (low pressure) line. Parts store can get it for you.

I don;t have an '01 handy to look at right now.

I just charged a new compressor. return line got very hot and pressure vented from the back of the new compressor ? Too much refrigerent ? Did I bust It ? Sometimes i'm good , other times i'm a friggn Idiot ! ( Out of desperation , it reached 100 today ! )

You blew the head gasket on the compressor.

There is a cap bolt / releaf valve type in the center of the back of the Sanden compressor. I think it is also an oil drain valve?. thats where it vented ! I had put 4 oz PAG oil in the compressor & 4 .1 oz in the new accumulalor / Drier. I ve shut it down, for now . any advice ?

Take it, and your checkbook, to a professional.

Hey ....... fixed it. FYI , There is a relief/ oil plug that is designed to let go. I read my gauge wrong and had put too much refrigerant in. had it evacuated and recharged at the shop. Thanks
