2000 XJ

I need to prime my new oil pump, what do I need to disconnect to keep the engine from starting? Its already packed with vaseline but I want to crank it some for a little added security, thanks

pull the fuel pump relay,crank it in short intervals three or four time then hook relay back up and start it
