Ok. Working on a 2000 jeep Cherokee 2wd.
Out of the blue it didn't start.
Checked battery and alternator and connections
Checked fuses and relays
Cleaned NSS and replace ignition switch.

Still will not start. You turn the key you here a click (passenger side) possibly a relay or module and the ebrake/brake light comes on when turning the key to the start position. (Only comes on when key is turned all the way to start. Then turns back off when you come off start position)

I am at a complete loss.

The car will run and drive if you jump the starter.

So basically the starter isn't getting the switched 12v to activate the starter.

Any help is awesome. Thanks

There is a relay in the Power Distribution Center, labeled "engine starter"
The diagram inside of the cover would place it in the 2nd position from the front. Maybe you could swap it with one of the other relays, for a test.

I've checked/swapped all relays. The one under the hood and the one on the passenger kick panel
