Default Replaced timing chain...

I replaced the timing chain, started fine with cover off. Sounded good. Put it all back together. Sounds like crap. A little rubbing noise or a little hit noise from the cover now. Everything is new. And everything runs fine. Gets quieter when RPM's go up.

Sounds like you answered your own question. Check the cover.

Did you make sure the snubber was in the timing chain cover before installing it?
