2000 jeep cherokee problem
 

I have a 2000 jeep Cherokee and it stalls sometimes when im stopped at a light and now it has done something different when i am driving it kicks sometimes and when it kicked it happened 2 times where the rpm drops to 0 then i push on the gas and the rpm goes up and says check gauges and then the rpm goes back to normal and the check gauges light turns off and i also got a code P1698 so i dont know what it could be the PCM or the Crankshaft position sensor does anybody know what it could be?
