2000 Classic - New Build - Needing advise
Hello All - I'm new to the forum and new to the industry/hobby. I have had a 2000 classic for the last 5-6 years which is in great condition. I'm getting the itch to start building it up. Living in Colorado and being an avid out- doors-men. There have been many places in the CO backcountry Ive not been able to get into with my stock suspension. I'm looking to lift, but also would like to be able to retain the street/daily driver ability. Can anyone relate and or suggest a lift kit? I've been looking around on other sites and forums and it appears the the Rough Country kit is a popular one. Also looking at the Rubicon Express kits. Pricy, but am not sure if that is just due to the name.
Any suggestions, advice, links, anything would greatly appreciated. Thanks Jared |
www.ironrockoffroad.com is another popular lift. There is a build thread on here of someone that used there long arm lift, havent heard anything bad about them on the boards, but I havent talked to anyone I personally know that has one. They have prices comparable to Rough Country, and also have some cheap sye/driveshaft kits also. They have long arm lifts up to 8".
