2000 Cherokee Sport Power window problem
I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport, all stock, 4.0 engine that I just got running from a year ago when I purchased it. I notice that the power windows operate correctly from the master console but the individual switches at the other windows are not lit and don't operate the windows. It's almost as if the lockout button is engaged all the time. The lockout button appears to be working normally and I have it apart, did have some solder cracks on the board that I fixed, I haven't opened the switch yet but it's looking like this might not be the issue as the other windows still don't have control. Anyone run into this or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

My '00 had the exact same problem. There are videos for bypassing the window lock button and for doing what you did. I just bought a new switch and all was fine.

You probably have broken wires in the door harness. I had to make several splices and replace the main switch to all of my windows working reliably from their individual switches.

OMG, how I HATE repairing harnesses! That's a fine mess you got there.
