Any codes on the odometer?
No codes have shown up on the odometer..Is ther any chanc that the spark plug coil rail have anything to do with it...I have had a misfire on cylinder 3 and havent gotten a chance to fix it yet.
I keep hearing about this crank position sensor that you can test them with an ohmmeter..but not sure on how to do that..
I have seen where there is something that shows up on the odometer that says "NO BUS" but has not shown up..But I only read of that on the later models

Here is a link to a thread on how to test your crank sensor. Highly recommended.
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/c...ailing-639123/ What you are seeing with the cylinder 3 misfire may be "heat soak". It is very common on the 2000-2001 4.0 engine and often leaves you with a mysterious misfire on cylinder 3. Search for information on heat soak. |
Thanks homies...Turned out to be the crankshaft position sensor..Gotta love the forum...Thanks everybody hopefully I can return the favor someday
