2 Stock Diff Covers to beef it up?
So I was thinking that maybe I could get another stock diff cover from a JY and put it on the back (on top of my diff cover) so basically doubling it up. Granted the bolts are long enough, I figure its for protection purposes ONLY and not to make a seal since theres already a gasket on the "functional" one but wondering if this would work? Also whats the purpose of the vertical metal tab on the left side of the diff (kinda circled in pic) - thanks guys

^^^ nice idea for front but I would just buy one for the rear since it is already real thin.
In the rear unless you like driving in reverse the main concern is just the peeling of the lip back.
