2 part noob question

Default 2 part noob question

i have a 2000 black xj sport and my buddy has a tj that he just jacked up 5 inches ( looks SOO badass) and he gave me his spacers and is going to sell me his 32s when he gets his 35s put on. A wheres a good place to buy just shackles and B. can i run my stock shocks or do i need to get new shocks to?

depnds how much lift it is for shocks and for shackles try rustys or ruff country stock shocks can work up to 2inch of lift

Rough country has 2" shackles and I use em'. there easy to install and do their job. at 2" you can still use stock shocks. when you start going higher, and you will, you will need new shocks. i suggest Bilstein 5100 series. I have the 4" shocks and 3" of lift. Im going to 5" of lift here soon and i love how they perform on and off road.
