Shocks are blown out up front

Is it normal for my interior to have all kinds of creaks, pops and rattles?
It is more pronounced when hitting bumps or flexing it.
Haven't owned an XJ in 8 years. I forgot lol

 

no. next time any of it is apart go nuts with the felt tape and/or dbl sided sticky tape

 

I think it may have to do with my blown out shocks?

did you do the felt tape ? sounds like a great idea

 

yes, i did a combo of felt tape and the double sided tape. i can't stand the squeaks and rattles. they got worse when i replaced my blown shocks with new ones haha

 

I may just do the same. did it help much?

Damn, mine mostly happens on bumps. The dash will randomly pop.

 

yeah it eliminated the annoyances.
