2 door vs 4 door???
So just wondering if the 2 door truly has a weeker strucktured uni.?
Also I've been thinking that down the road I'm gonna try get a 4 door
& was wondering if I could swap my lift strait over from the 2D to the 4D???
Has any 1 ever tried?

The 4 door is stronger due to the extra body pillar between the front and rear doors. The lift will swap over with no problem. 2 door and 4 door XJs share the same suspension components, front clip, rear hatch, and wheelbase. the only real difference is of course the doors, the rear quarter panel, side window glass, and the interior trim panels

Well how much more do they flex cause I've X'd my axles & parked then open the back latch & it won't close
As well as the doors! How bad is this with the 4D?

The 4 door still has a lot of body flex. You can't avoid that with the unibody structure. It just has an overall strength advantage vs the 2 door. I have had mine 91 4 door flexed, and not even to the max, and could not open the hatch.
