Hi all,
I'm fairly experienced mechanically, but have no experience with the Jeep world. My 16yo wants a Cherokee as his first vehicle, but the one he's settling on has a broken driver's seat. The seller has it secured with zipties. Are the seat rails pretty standard between years and other Jeep vehicles? The local pull-a-part has some Grand Cherokees that I could probably get decent seats from , but I'd hate to get them home and find that the rail spacing is different...

I think a 94-98 ZJ works in the 97-01 XJ, but cant remember if it was the seat itself, or the track. ???

I'm not sure but you could measure it all before going to the junk yard to make sure its the same
