u-joint question
I have a '92 NON-ABS cherokee with the 8.25" chrysler rear. As stated in a prior post, i am swapping to the XJ dana 44. My question is, since I am still new to all of this, i no doubt have the 260 u-joints. Is it possible to upgrade these to the 297s without having to upgrade the driveshaft? or would i be better off upgrading it all? i know in the long run i will upgrade the shafts and such, but for right now, running a stock suspension and all... Thanks for reading and all the help as usual, you guys are the best!

no you can't.
you need the larger shafts. if you don't have vac disco, just replace with newer non abs or older abs shafts.
