1999 Jeep Cherokee Passenger side doors won’t unlock

My 1999 jeep cherokee has all the power window, locks, and remote locks features which is a blessing, but when I go to unlock my vehicle from the two front doors or the key fob, only the drivers side unlocks. am unlocking noise is made from both passenger doors, but the switch isn’t flipped when you try to unlock it. Any suggestions?

If you're hearing all the right sounds (actuators/motors moving - I don't know much as I'm a manual lock/window guy) then more than likely the problem is with the linkage to the lock. Either it's come apart or can't overcome the friction to move the lock mechanism.

I had an issue with the lock flipping and I just worked the switch back and forth a bit and it's been fine since.

What I'd do is find the schematics for the lock for the 99 (the Factory Service Manual will have this, or you can probably find a pic using google) - then you know what's going on internally. Then maybe you might try a little lubricant (I'd use graphite) on the switch.
