1999 cherokee sport
 

hello i recently purchased a 99 cherokee sport. it didnt come with fog lights but i bought a set of factory lights. i noticed when i took the dash apart there were wires connected where the switch would be. do these wires run all the way to were the would mount or not. any help would be appreciated.

Yes, if you look under the front end near where the fog lamps mount you should find connectors for thr foglamps. I think all you need is a fuse a relay and the factory switch, plug it all in and your ready to go.

Is that connector in the middle of the bumper? i had my bumper off yesterday and there is one plug in in the middle also have a 99 sport

stupid question but what does the relay do for you?

Blows that fuse instead of burnin up your lights/or wires

Yup that should be it.

That may be for the ambient temp sensor, if equiped with an overhead console

There should be a plug on each end of the bumper near the unibody mounts

does anyone have pics of where the plugs might be found. i have looked everywhere next i guess take bumper off? what gauge wire are the fog lights anyway, may just run all new wire.
