The fuse that connects the circuit for the tail lights and gauges blows at random times but there's no short in the wiring I've traced it all from fuse box to the lights anyone have the same problem?

Have you checked the wiring to the rear hatch?
I would also check the bulbs and sockets to make sure one hasnt melted across
