1997 jeep cherokee xj 3rd brake, rear wiper and washer all not working

1997 jeep cherokee xj

3rd brake light(bulb is good), rear wiper and rear washer all not working

they did work a while back but for some reason all 3 items do not work now

and ideas?

Check the wiring between the hatch and body. Tend to break.

Engine: 4.0, new lifters valve job with new springs and exhaust valves, preload set with shims

Pull the tail lights and the wiring harness behind them, tends to fill with green gunk, I had to completely jump out all the connections on mine. but, I tend to agree with the other post check the connections behind the hatch light first
