1996 jeep parts compatibility with 1996 grand Cherokee limited

Engine: 4.0
Welcome to the forum! Assuming the Grand has the 4.0 engine, most of the engine components should be identical. Sensors, etc. There is a sticky at the top of the forum that talks about engine compatibility. That should help some.
For specific parts, when in doubt, look it up on an auto parts site as if it's going in the Cherokee, and note the part number. Then on the same site, look it up as if it's going in the Grand, and compare part numbers.

Then I doubt there is ANY compatibility. But as above, you can always check the parts listing to be sure. I"m sure it's possible there is the odd part or two that interchanges. I just don't think it's very likely. The bodies and drive trains are quite different, too.

Quite a few parts outside of the engine are the same parts. Like calipers and rubber brake lines. For whatever part, go to Rock Auto, look it up, click on the part number link (of something good like AC Delco) and it will show you the other vehicles, with year ranges, that it fits.
