the two bolts that go into my brake calipers are stripped, what do i need to replace?

Steering knuckle. Cheap from junkyard.

Been there, done that when I was in a hurry.
This guy sells a kit. I ended up just getting the same pieces and doing it myself.

It's a threaded insert. You drill and tap a sightly larger hole. Put the threaded insert in with loctite and then you're good to go.

Other option is get a used knuckle as previous poster suggested.

I used these inserts:
I bought the insert tool but that was a waste. Just use a bolt with a jam nut to put it in. Been holing up fine for 3 years. I'm just a little more careful when I put those caliper bolts back in now. You may be able to get a bolt the same size and have it cut new threads. . those caliper bolts seem to have a fairly shallow thread depth compared to a regular bolt the same size.

take your bolt go to an auto parts store, or most hardware stores. and get a Helicoil kit for that bolt size. then get a couple new grade 8 bolts while you are there.

Thread lock on the helicoil. and a small dab of anti seize or even just brake lube on the threads of the bolt. tighten to spec. make sure the bolts are going in straight and that the caliper is properly lined up.

If unsure on how to use a helicoil i'm sure there are plenty of videos on Youtube.

1. fetch one of the bolts you are talking about
2. Go to auto parts store
3. Ask for helocoil kit that matches that bolt size
4. Purchase appropriately sized helocoil kit, while secretely cursing the fact that they charge so much for them at autoparts store
5. Go home, watch a few youtube videos on helocoils
6. Follow instructions carefully

Or if you are not comfortable with that:

1. Go to local independent shop that you trust
2. Tell them both caliper bolts are stripped and ask them to helocoil them for you

Or, if you feel like rebuilding your front-end over a stripped bolt:

1. Find a steering knuckle that is not stripped (new or junkyard)
2. Replace the knuckle that has the stripped bolt holes

By the way, once the helocoils are in place (which is the route I suggest), it will last longer than the original hole. Because those holes were just simple holes tapped into unhardened steel. Very soft, and very prone to lose their threads due to rust (that area sees a lot of moisture). The helocoils are typically of much higher quality material. If they are installed correctly, they will very much last the life of that vehicle.
