1996 electric fan compatible w 1998
 

I've tried doing a little research to find if a 1996 electric fan is compatible w a 1998. From what I've read it sounds like it isn't but wanted to see if anyone had a definite answer. Mine is burnt up on my 98 and junk yard got one for 96

Does your 98 work at all? Sometimes cleaning up the motor will get them working. Just dirty electric parts (brushes) freezes them up. Budget fix. I mean, unless you're sure than 96 from the JY works.

Likely only the connector is different if anything. You could just splice the connector on if that is the case.
