1996 Cherokee 4.0: bad check valve or pressure regulator?
So I'm new to Jeeps and I've got a 1996 Cherokee 4.0 that has suddenly started having issues starting. It just cranks and cranks and sometimes it'll start,and other times I have to shut it off and start it again,and then it starts up no problem. I plan to change the pump whether it's an issue or not just so I can rely on this a bit more,but it's to my understanding you can't really replace the pressure regulator with something new on this? I want to know whether it's possible to even replace the regulator and/or the check valve if it's not holding pressure all of a sudden. Thanks in advance.
