1995 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 straight 6

My temp light keeps coming on. I have replaced heads,waterpump,temp sending unit,and thermostat. My light still comes on. Does anyone have anymore ideals what mite cause this problem?

Engine: 4.0L HO

Is it actually overheating, or is the light just on?

Could be a couple of things. Does the upper radiator hose get hard when the engine is on? If so, then coolant is circulating. Does the radiator get warm? It's possible that it might be clogged, which would hinder cooling performance.

Get yourself a mechanical temp. gauge to find out your real temp and go from there.

yes the hose dose get hard.i plan to flush it in the morning.
