1995 Jeep Cherokee Electric door locks. Will unlock but wont unlock?

1995 Jeep Cherokee Electric door locks. Will unlock but wont unlock?
I tried to change the relay (i have extras laying around) And it still doesnt work. this is what it does. Ill hit lock and all i hear is a single click. Itll unlock just fine. but it doesnt lock. I tried the passenger side too and it still doesnt lock. What could be the problem?

These parts will eventually fail over time. Best you can do is pull the door panels, check for signal at the solenoids, keep the mechanical parts loosened up and well lubed.

we had problems with mine. took it apart and the mechanism assembly was stuffed with crap. cleaned it lubed it and it worked like new for a little but now its just mediocre. still worth it though. thats what you gotta do, besides making sure its getting the signal to do so

I actually just had the door panel off and i lubed stiff up... What other electrical things couldve taken a crap tho? Also. Would a 97 lock relay work on my 95?
