Default 1994 Jeep XJ - Cruise Control

I replaced my brake switch about a year ago and the other day tried to use the cruise control and it did not work. I'm wondering if the replacement switch replaced was for non cruise control. How many wires does the non cruise control switch have? How many wires on the cruise control switch? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't have a '94 but the parts guide does not show a different number for cruise vs non-cruise.

Non-cruise brake switches typically have 2 wires. Cruise control brake switches usually have 4 wires. If your cruise isn’t working, you might have installed the wrong switch. Check the connector and wire count to confirm.
