1992 cherokee sport release/slave cylinder
On my 1992 cherokee sport 2 door I am having to top off my clutch fluid about once a day or it won't shift. As long as I keep it full its fine. I checked the master cylinder and there is no visible leakage. In looking for the slave/release cylinder I find it seems to be inside the transmission case and quite inaccesible for inspection/swapping. Is it neccesarry to drop the trasmission to do this job?

is it at risk of blowing completely or can i keep adding fluid for awhile? like maybe when we elect a new president? |
if you keep adding fluid it will work for a while, but if you have to fill it everyday you probably don't have too much time.
eventually it won't be able to build enough pressure to release the clutch you may want to consider converting to an external slave from a 94 and up when you do take it apart |

Make sure you get a quality unit for replacement. |
