Okay i posted awhile back but
I have a 1991 jeep Cherokee sport 4x4 5 speed i know enough about cars but lost on this
i was driving down the interstate and jeep was running perfectly fine then all a sudden it started lagging out like it was out of gas so i pulled over it died wouldnt start back it wanted to but no luck thinking i ran out but i was at a quarter of a tank i thought its a older car so it could of just read wrong got a little gas in got it about a a 3rd mile to gas station on my way it was lagging unless i gave it alot of gas but since last post ive put in
fuel pump
fuel filter
Distributor- not plug's or plug wires
starter
I sprayed starter fluid to her still no luck i think it would have to be fuel line is clogged (but still shoulda started with starter fluid)
or just need plugs and plug wires
Or it jumped timing
ps left it on a 8 amp portable charger all night and after work i came home to mess with it and it was dead again but i bought battery about 5 months ago

What is the fuel pressure at the fuel rail? It is free to "rent" a gauge to test this at O'Reilly's. Testing spark is easy enough without a specialty tool. Report these results.
Often the culprit on our Cherokee's is the crankshaft position sensor.
Starting fluid is a good tool, but on our old Cherokee's it is too easy to remove the spark plugs. I remove them and pour a teaspoon of gasoline into each combustion chamber. This allows you the benefit of examining the spark plugs as well.
What is the voltage across the battery?
