1991 Cherokee Sport, Speaker Sizes + other questions.
1991 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2 door.
just got my cherokee fixed, and ive got a few questions, mainly about speaker sizes.
Ive read on this forum, and other websites:
5 1/4" in the rear and 6.5" in the doors. i just wanted to confirm this before i start ripping speakers out and buying some new ones.
I'd like to avoid modifying the speaker housing.
Now for my other questions, they require a little bit of a backstory.
I purchased this truck from a... fairly careless human being.
therefore, she used gorilla glue in an attempt to fix the right fog lamp. which just... didnt work. my question is. how do i get gorilla glue off without scratching the bumper?
the bug shield broke off when she hit the brakes when there was snow on the truck roof. which is fine, but the mount is still there for it, as well as a few pieces of plastic from the shield. id like to just take those off, is that just a simple screw under the hood?
if youre unsure about what exactly im talking about, id be more then take some pictures.

The speakers are 5.25's and I have heard of 6.5's fitting in the front with some modification to the door panel. There is another post about this, I'll try and find it for you. I put new 5.25's in mine all the way around with a 4 channel amp pushing those and an Infinity Perfect 10 (sub) in the back and it sounds great. As long as you don't go with cheap speakers it will sound good and you will still get that mid range you are looking for.

I'm just going to go with some 5.25"s, its a truck. Not a sound studio.
I got the gorilla glue off, very easily actually.
all it took was a flat head screw driver. peeled right off.
Ive figured out how to take the bug shield mount off. but it requires a lot of work, so I'm just going to take a dremel to it later.
I'm also working on a workaround for the wind window Locks, because they cost 60$ a piece to replace!
I've made my own for under 5 dollars, I'll make a post elaborating how later.
