Default 1990 manifold air temp sensor

I have a 9o xj 4.0 need a mat sensor. told it was obselete from jeep. the 1 I have has wires made to sensor, the replacements I've found have no wires. The ones I've seen look like the 1 on my 94 4.0 & I've checked them & the resistance values are different. HELP please

Look for a brass hex bung with two wires coming off of it, I believe it's forward of the throttle body.

OP - Except for the TPS and HEGO, all of the sensors and such on RENIX are GM parts. I've gotten them from Marren Fuel Injection (www.injector.com, I think) fairly cheaply in the past. You'll have to reterminate the IAT wiring to fit their sensor - but you can cut the tail off of the old one and use that to make an adapter tail (so you can go back and forth as needed.)

Oh - wrong end. Sowwies!

Kinda makes some small sense to have it back there tho - that would be the hot end of the intake (although it would make the front cylinders run a shade lean, but that should be corrected by the feedback from the HEGO sensor...)
