New speedo install assistance
I got a new speedo with a tach for my 1989 cherokee from a 1990 cherokee. The plastic connector that clips on the back of the cluster is an inch or two shy of reaching the gauge cluster with my hand in the way. I tried shoving it in and aiming and that never made a connection just pushed it further back. Anyone have experience with this problem? Any advise? I have some pictures uploaded in my album I wasn't sure how to display in this post.
Thanks in advance.

throw up a few pics to give a better idea. i'm not too sure, but i think there may be different variations of speedo gears. maybe you got the wrong one?

The plastic blue and white thing that goes behind the speedometer is what im having trouble plugging in. The other 2 plugs for instruments i can connect with ease, although my tach doesnt seem to be working. Is it possible that its speedometer driven? Anyone have a wiring diagram for the gauge pod or the connectors? Or can anyone tell me the easy way to plug in the speedometer cable?
