I would check your CPS as well as your cat converters, mine had this exact problem before I had to get it smogged and I replaced my cat converters and CPS and it fixed all of the problems. This was great because I was worried it was my T Case

I would look at your CPS as the first culprate. Seriously The CPS's on these Jeep's cause about 1/3 of no start or bad running problems in my experience. Buy a new one( they wear out anyways, and when they die, you Jeep won't run) they're like 50 bucks at advance. Make sure you clean off the connector and check the wires. Tighten the bolts evenly and try to get it as clse to the flywheel as you can. These things are so fragile I keep a spare in my tool box now haha. If that does't work, then you can go from there, but I would start at the CPS first

it started a little after about a week then got worse fast, I have been tinkering and wiggling and playing with it on and off as weather allows without freezing my butt off outside trying to fiqure this out. It fires right up every time and runs great sitting in the driveway but then acts like a loaded up carb when I try to go.
