On your back with your feet out under the passenger seat you can reach up past the front drive-line with your left hand to guide the socket onto the bolts that you fed up there on the ratchet you have in your right hand down by the tyranny cross-member. Be careful to not let it pull the bolt out of the socket to fall into the housing. Chuck the plastic thing if there is one. Hawl it up buy the string, tie the new (napa), cps to the string and lower, install. 10 minutes.
If you do this on a Sunday, you get to the point where you go to three different buddy's and gather up their extensions to get the length. But I just bought some-pretty cheap really and a good investment to have some 12" ones handy. Changing the CPS shouldn't be so hard but it's just that the access is so poor. I'm sure they must have put them on the transmission before assembly at the factory.

It's basically the TSB to do some wiring and add a resistor to reduce fuel pump noise on 87s.

Depends on the buddies, bet I could do it in two! Another angle, (maybe not here), is to adapt to 1/2" when your 3/8 runs out so you can then use those. I can go about 5' that way

And when reinstalling the bolts, use this trick with electrical tape.
