Default 1989 XJ Canister Hoses

Well I sent my XJ to get all new freeze plugs and gaskets, but when I got her back I saw they didn't connect the hoses that were on the vanccum can in the engine compartment. Where do those hoses go hooked up to? I can't find and hoses that hook up to it.

I'd be calling them to find out, even just to call them out.

That being said - mine isn't hooked up to ****. Is it legal? who knows.

Can the hard plastic hoses be replaced with rubber hoses.

Yes. At the risk of them kinking though. And burning...

You can patch them with rubber hoses.

Cool. What did you do to fix things?

Are you happy I didn't post this one for you?

The map sensor was not where it was suppose to be. They had it hooked up to the canister where it said fuel tank. The little hoses that go to egr were all mixed up. They should draw the hoses on a paper before they pull them off. That way it's put back they should go. Thanks.
